There are many who wonder about the types of charity drive events that they can choose from should they find themselves wanting to raise funds for a beneficiary organization. The honest answer is that the only feasible classification is one that pertains to the size or extent of the drive or event. If you want to learn more about these various charity drive types, you can check out here the options that are available to your specific organization.

1. Small-scale charity drive. At the bottom of the charity drive classification totem are small-scale drives or events designed to reach tens to a few hundred people within a relatively small community or venue. A classic example is with schools like information technology degrees offering to perhaps organize a 5-k run or sponsor a pancake bake-off. Consequently, the amount raised is capped to a thousand dollars or so but given the commensurate effort, it is already worthwhile to consider events like this as a resounding success.

2. Medium-scale charity drive. If you are planning to mobilize a few hundred volunteers to reach a relatively small city, that easily qualifies as a medium-scale charity drive. MPH programs and MPA programs oftentimes fit the bill as these are the types of organizations most likely to be able to command a substantial number to organize events like a community-wide clean-up, a sports tournament between various institutions and communities, or even a small college-based fashion show.

3. Large-scale charity drive. At the top of the hierarchy for charity drive types are large-scale charity events typically sponsored by big organizations like business clubs, sororities with a national scope, or service organizations with a specific beneficiary. Events at this scale include concerts, galas, and other big ticket fundraisers which can also incorporate the sponsorship of many brands like the best anti wrinkle creams or debt settlement companies. Compactors can also suitably fill in the gap should they choose to be part of a massive effort geared towards helping specific organizations raise the necessary money to finance their year-round slate of activities.

Anyone can organize a charity drive towards benefiting a specific organization, should they have the commitment and determination to see it through. It is very important to understand that the size of the event does not determine its success. As long as you see a plan through and get people to participate in it, you are more than halfway towards bettering your charity’s position to help those that are in need.
